The Halal Grill Box Experience - A wonderful dinner party

At Halalnivore, we love to hear from our customers on how they've been cooking and enjoying their halal gourmet meat. Recently we spoke to Zahra, who purchased a halal 'Grill Box' from us for a dinner party she was having. Turns out she organises social events in her spare time and put on a wonderful spread!

Tell us a little bit about yourself Zahra

Hi I'm Zahra, a full time HR Adviser and mother of two. In my spare time I project manage social events including baby showers, birthday parties, weddings and Islamic functions. My event management team consists of a professional graphic designer, photographer, make up and mehndi artist, clothes designer and chef so naturally when arranging to try Halalnivore's meat we literally made a meal out of it! 

So what did you think about the gourmet meat from Halalnivore?

My team joined my hubby and me at our house where I laid out a nice spread and was keeping my fingers crossed that the meat would make the mark. And it did just that! The quality of the meat was phenomenal, the softest and juiciest steaks that we have ever tasted - even our chef was impressed and it takes a lot to impress him!

Overall and collectively we rate the steaks 5/5. The lamb burgers were debatable however as some (those who like spicy food) were singing its praises while others who don't like spices in English foods weren't as keen. Those who prefer non spicy burgers could opt for the beef burgers instead, which are more of your traditional type of burger.

I cannot emphasise enough that the quality of the steaks were outstanding. Sooo tender and really very tasty.
